In 2010, John celebrated his 5 year anniversary with McConkey.  He joined the team straight out of college as a Sales and Marketing Associate, was promoted to Account Administrator, and now serves as an Account Executive.

In addition to handling Commercial accounts, one of John’s primary areas of focus is his work with association programs.  More specifically, John is the marketing coordinator/manager for the Association Services division, handling the Pennsylvania Builders Association (PBA) and the Pennsylvania Association for Rehabilitation Facilities (PARF) workers’ compensation programs.

He is an enthusiastic member of the insurance profession, as he demonstrated by graduating first in his class in a national Travelers Insurance New Producers School.  John has been awarded the designations of Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC), Accredited Advisor of Insurance (AAI) and the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA).  In addition, John has added life and health lines of authority to his property and casualty insurance license.

A graduate of York Catholic High School and Grove City College, John is an active member of the community.  In the past, John has been involved with York Young Professionals and York Jaycees, and he has also been a York Chamber of Commerce Ambassador.  Currently, he serves on the board of Leadership York and is also an active participant of the York Rotary and Chamber FUEL.

In his free time, John enjoys watching Ravens and Penn State football and playing racquetball.
