STEVEN P
BUTERBAUGH, CPCU, AAI
 Steve’s
role at McConkey centers around his portfolio of key clients and the
leadership he provides in the areas of sales production and marketing.
He has been with McConkey for over 18 years and has been an integral part of the
growth and expansion of the organization.
Prior to joining McConkey, Steve was an underwriter for the Hartford Insurance
Group.
Steve is a graduate of Millersville University, where he was a 4-year
letterman in golf. He is the recipient of the
Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.
He is also a recipient of the
Central Penn Business Journal’s, 40 Under 40 Award, which recognizes
young professionals for excellence in business, commitment to community, and
personal achievement.
Steve takes great pride in understanding each client’s business and enjoys
his role as a business advisor to some of Central Pennsylvania’s top executives.
Steve is an active member of insurance agency councils and
volunteers his time with selected community related organizations.
In his free time, Steve is dedicated to his family and their many activities. He enjoys spectator sports, playing golf
and has a passion for fly fishing.
He lives in Lancaster County with his wife and three children.
One of Steve's most recent accomplishments was to lead a team of dedicated
individuals on a two-year project to bring the 2015 US Women's Open to
Lancaster. This USGA event will generate approximately $30,000,000 in
local revenue.
