In May of 2007, McConkey
developed an internship program that is available to all senior level
college students who are interested in learning more about the insurance
industry. The internship program is offered in the spring, summer
and fall with flexible hours.

- Assigned projects and tasks assigned
to our intern will have practical and positive application for our

- Create a pool of qualified
candidates for potential employment in various positions

- Learn essential functions of all
departments
- Assist with marketing functions for
the captive programs
- Shadow Account Executives from all
departments on selected client meetings
- Assist with various company
committees with assigned tasks as well as attend committee meetings
- Aid the Commercial Lines Assistant
with clerical duties
- Shadow Customer Service Agents from
all departments on a rotating schedule
- Assist with administrative duties
when needed
- Attend "out of office"
social events when applicable
