McConkey and Eastern Alliance Visit Maryland

February 11, 2008:  As the PBA Workers' Compensation program has expanded into Maryland effective January 1, 2008, John Olkowski and Tisha O'Donnell from McConkey, as well as Chad Legner and Sarah Steciw of Eastern Alliance visited the newly appointed Maryland agents and the Maryland Home Builders Association.  John Kortecamp, the Executive Director of the Maryland Homebuilders Association, is very excited about this opportunity to help his members with another benefit of membership in the association.  While offering many other positive benefits to its members, this will be the first wide-scale workers' compensation insurance program to be offered by the association.  As such, many other staff members of the Maryland Association were excited about the program as well.  In speaking with the newly appointed Maryland agents, there is a general feeling that the program will be very useful to their clients, as there are very few alternatives to the State Fund for their residential homebuilders.
