Eastern Announces McConkey as program Administrator

January 7, 2009:  EAIG is extremely pleased to announce that EK McConkey now serves as the Program Administrator for the Pennsylvania Association of Rehabilitation Facilities (PARF) workers' compensation program.

As a Program Administrator, McConkey acts as a liaison between the association and EAIG, develops marketing plans, assists in annual renewal negotiations, and serves our agents as a valuable resource for marketing materials, leads and general information about the association.  Since 2005, McConkey has served as the Program Administrator for the Pennsylvania Builders' Association (PBA) workers' compensation program, EAIG's largest alternative market program.  During this time, McConkey has helped drive the program to the highest premium volume in history and its expansion into the Maryland marketplace.  Since officially assuming PARF Program Administration duties in July of 2008, McConkey has been busy bringing this same level of marketing support to the PARF workers' compensation program. 

PARF is a Pennsylvania-wide organization of facilities serving individuals with physical, mental, social and/or emotional disabilities.  Its members formed the Workers' Compensation Insurance Dividend Trust (IDT) in 1992 and placed their program with EAIG in 2002.
