Karen Mummert featured speakers at Construction Forum

Norm Basso and Karen Mummert were featured speakers at McKonly
&
Asbury's construction industry seminar in Mechanicsburg, PA. Several
of the region's top construction companies were in attendance. Basso
presented the "Captive Concept" to show the contractors an alternative
method for handling insurance risk. Mummert spoke about various topics
within the Surety industry. Other featured speakers from McKonly &
Asbury and McNees Wallace and Nurick discussed Sales and Use Tax, Update on
the PA Budget, proposed 460 Regulation, the American Recovery and
Reinvestment Act of 2009, and Social Networking as well as many other items
that are important to the construction industry and business, in general.
