2007 Community Services Award from the York County Chamber In 2007, the York County Chamber of Commerce recognized our efforts in the community and awarded McConkey with their 2007 Community Services Award.  We are particularly proud of this award, which recognized our efforts, such as the tireless work done by our Tim Kotula Charity Committee, as well as our 15 straight years of 100% employee participation in the United Way. 2006 Central PA Business of the Year In November, 2006, E.K. McConkey was awarded the #30 "Best Places to Work in PA".  The program is a public/private partnership of Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania Chamber of Business and Industry, and the Central Penn Business Journal.  E.K.
