McConkey recognized as Reading Branch of CNA's
'Agent of the Year' |

22, 2009:
Members of the CNA team from Reading visited
McConkey with an award and a check in recognition of McConkey being their
'Agent of the Year'. A check in the amount of $5,000 was given to be
used for a favorite McConkey donation. Therefore, the money will be
donated to the Tim Kotula Scholarship Fund at Delone Catholic High School.
The fund was set up a few years ago to honor the memory of Timothy Kotula,
who was a Vice President and Shareholder of McConkey.

2007 Community Services Award from the York County
Chamber |

In 2007, the York County Chamber of Commerce recognized our
efforts in the community and awarded McConkey with their
2007 Community Services Award. We are particularly proud of
this award, which recognized our efforts, such as the
tireless work done by our Tim Kotula Charity Committee, as
well as our 15 straight years of 100% employee participation
in the United Way. |

the Year |

In November, 2006, McConkey was the proud recipient of
the Central Penn Business Journal's "Business of the Year"
award for mid-size companies.

In 2006, Affinity Insurance, Ltd., the 5th largest group
captive in the world (according to A.M. Best) recognized McConkey as its Top Broker. |

In 2006, McConkey was awarded the #30 "Best Places to
Work in PA". The program is a public/private partnership of
Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of
Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania Chamber
of Business and Industry, and the Central Penn Business
Journal. McConkey was also a major sponsor for the
Best Places to Work (BPTW) event in 2006 and 2007. |
