While a fairly new addition to the team, John has quickly grown to become a vital part of McConkey.  He joined the company in 2005 as a Sales and Marketing Associate, was promoted to an Account Administrator, and now serves as an Account Executive in the Commercial Lines Department.

One of John’s primary areas of focus is his work with association insurance programs.  Specifically, John has grown the Pennsylvania Builder’s Association Workers’ Compensation Insurance Program by 30% in his first year.

He is an enthusiastic member of the insurance profession, as he recently demonstrated by graduating first in his class in a national Travelers Insurance New Producers School.  In April of 2007, John was conveyed the designation of Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) by the American Insurance Marketing Society and also added life and health lines of authority to his property and casualty insurance license.

John is a graduate of Grove City College with a B.S. in Business Management.  He is a member of York Young Professionals, the York Jaycees, and is a York Chamber of Commerce Ambassador.

In his free time, John enjoys watching Ravens and Penn State football and playing racquetball.
