Karen
brings over 20 years of experience to her clients at
McConkey. Her
widely respected
expertise is in the areas of surety bonds, financial
analysis and construction-industry account work.
Karen attended
St. Joseph’s University and has earned the Accredited Adviser in
Insurance (AAI) and Certified Professional Insurance
Agent (CPIA) designations.
In addition to her work with McConkey, Karen is
well-known for her leadership in various professional
insurance organizations.
She has served on the National Advisory Board for
the Insurance Institute of America and is a faculty
member and course curriculum advisor for the National
Association of Surety Bond Producers.
Karen is also a member of the Associated Builders
and Contractors Beam Club and the Construction Financial
Management Association.
Karen is an active community volunteer.
She is a founding member of Compassion York, and
served on the board of directors of York Helping Hands
and the local chapter of the National Kidney Foundation.
She is also an active volunteer with York Habitat
for Humanity.
Karen resides in York with her husband, Mike.
In her free time, she enjoys biking, reading and
visiting her two sons living in the Philadelphia area.
