Steve’s key roles at McConkey center around his portfolio of key clients and the leadership he provides in the areas of sales production and marketing.   He has been with McConkey for over 15 years and has been an integral part of the growth and expansion of the organization.  Prior to joining McConkey, Steve worked with the Hartford Insurance Group for several years.

Steve is a graduate of Millersville University and is the recipient of the Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU) designation.  He is also a recipient of the Central Penn Business Journal’s, 40 Under 40 Award, which recognizes young professionals for excellence in business, commitment to community, and personal achievement.

Steve takes great pride in understanding each client’s business and enjoys his role as an advisor to some of Central Pennsylvania’s top executives.

Steve is an active member of several insurance agency councils and volunteers his time with selected community related organizations.

In his free time, Steve is dedicated to his young family and serves as a volunteer coach of various sports for the Hempfield Youth Association.  He enjoys spectator sports and playing golf.  He lives in Lancaster County with his wife and their three children.
