Claims Agent position available |
|
McConkey is currently looking for an individual to
work in our Claims department. Need to be able to multi-task
and handle a substantial workload, all the while creatively meeting
client needs. The ideal candidate must be able to work
independently, but also perform as part of a team. Major
duties will include acting as a liaison between clients & insurance
carriers, reporting new losses, reviewing policy forms and loss
runs, attending claims review meetings as necessary.
Qualified individuals should have prior experience in claims,
preferably in property & casualty; must be proficient in Word, Excel
and Outlook, as well as maneuvering the internet. A high
school diploma is required, and a Property & Casualty insurance
license is preferred.

Intern. Interning at McConkey you will:

on selected client meetings |

Assist with various company committees with
assigned tasks as well as attend committee meetings |

Aid the Commercial Lines Assistant with clerical
duties |

Shadow Client Service
Agents from all departments on a rotating schedule |

Assist with Administrative duties when needed |

Attend "out of office" social events when
applicable |
