McConkey Privacy Policy 

As your insurance provider, we place a high value on the confidentiality of your personally identifiable financial information.  We do not share information we collect with any unaffiliated third party.  Your information is protected within our agency.  We feel so strongly about it that our employee manual says it, too:  "You are expected to handle ALL INFORMATION regarding our clients and our agency with the strictest of confidentiality.  Our clients are our customers and our future.  Information regarding our clients and our agency business is never to be discussed with anyone outside of our agency."  

The information that we collect from you is necessary for us to adequately help meet your insurance needs.  This information is required before the insurance company will evaluate your request for insurance.  We also expect the insurance companies that we represent to be compliant with privacy laws as well.

Sometimes, this information is shared with other insurance agencies in connection with our policy.  If our agency were to utilize an outside service for a mass mailing, some information might be shared with them, but only relevant to the specific task at hand.  If this is the case, we would mandate that they respect your privacy as we do.

Obviously, by giving us this personal financial information, you are authorizing McConkey to look at several options to ascertain the best recommendation for you and your family.  IMPORTANT!  We collect this information because we are required to.  We do not share it in any way inconsistent with the purpose of meeting your insurance and/or financial services needs.

The examples listed above and other information we collect fall into several categories:

·  Information received from you on applications and other forms ·  Information about your transactions with us, our affiliates, or others ·  Information we receive from a credit reporting agency ·  Information we receive from a medical information bureau ·  Information fro other sources such as from the government or your employer
