Ava Burchell joined the McConkey team in June 2025 as a Claims Service Associate. Her insurance journey began with a summer internship in 2024 as our General Intern, where she gained hands-on experience across all departments of the firm.
Ava is a recent graduate of Gettysburg College, where she earned a B.A. in Economics and Public Policy. She continues to stay connected to her alma mater through the KARE (Key Alumni Resource Effort) Team, where she volunteers by attending college fairs to promote Gettysburg to prospective students and writing welcome letters to newly accepted students.
Originally from Doylestown, PA, Ava now lives in downtown Lancaster. Outside of work, Ava enjoys reading, taking Zumba classes, staying active, and listening to the Freakonomics podcast. She’s also a big fan of trivia, though she admits she has never won!
