Kara Mastrangelo

Kara joined McConkey in May 2024 as Administrative Coordinator. In January 2025, Kara was promoted to Benefits Administrative Coordinator, where she will transition to the Employee Benefits division full-time. 

Kara come to us from Leg Up Farm, where she was a volunteer coordinator and Certified Therapeutic Riding Instructor (CTRI). She also runs her own business called Stride Above, which focuses on high level care of equines through sports massage and possesses her Certified Equine Massage Therapist (CEMT) license. 

Originally from Chester County, Kara is a graduate of Millersville University with a degree in Environmental Biology. She worked for a while as a microbiologist and even assisted with creating the Covid19 vaccine.

Kara now lives in Jacobus with her husband, Nick, and their two cats. In her spare time she still volunteers with Leg Up Farm. She also enjoys gardening and growing her own plants, martial arts and UFC (both watching and participating!).

Fun Fact:  Kara also enjoys growing and shaping Bonsai trees!
