Tara Shultz joined the McConkey team in August 2025 as a Business Insurance Consultant in our Commercial Lines Division. In this role, she handles a book of business and works closely with the rest of our Property & Casualty team.
Tara has nearly 30 years of insurance experience and holds her CISR designation. She has an extensive background in commercial insurance, client service, account management, and operations, working with businesses across various industries. Her expertise includes, but is not limited to, coverage analysis, policy reviews, surety bonds, business development, and building strong relationships with clients and underwriters.
Tara and her husband, Brad, reside in Etters, PA, with their Beabull, Wally. They have four adult children and one grandchild, Huxley. In her spare time, Tara enjoys kayaking, white water rafting, pickleball, hiking, and just about anything outdoors. On Saturdays in the fall, you can find her watching Penn State football, and she’s also a Pittsburgh Penguins fan.
