Shawn joined the team in January 2009. His role at McConkey as a Benefits Account Manager focuses on assisting businesses to structure their employee benefits programs to both manage costs and continue attracting and retaining quality employees.
A graduate of Penn State University, Sean earned a B.S. in Management. He holds the Certified Self-Funding Specialist (CSFS) designation and is currently working toward his Certified Employee Benefits Specialists (CEBS) designation as well.
Prior to his work in our benefits division, Shawn worked as our personal lines producer, where he provided solutions for our clients’ personal insurance needs. To this day, Shawn is highly responsive to each client’s needs and concerns, and he sees himself as a partner reaching to achieve their strategic goals within their benefit program.
In his free time, Shawn can be found spending time with his wife, Stephanie, and two children, Josiah and Ashley. He enjoys continuing education, community service, good friends, good food and traveling.
