Barb joined the McConkey team in May 1992 as a Client Service Manager. A Bloomsburg University graduate, she earned her Bachelors degree in Fine Arts. She served as our Business Insurance Supervisor for 17 years and now has over 40 years’ experience in the insurance industry.
In addition to servicing clients, Barb also assists producers with new business opportunities and brings a wealth of knowledge and vital customer service skills to McConkey. In 2010, she was named Outstanding CSR of the Year for Pennsylvania and placed top five in the nation.
Barb has two cats of her own and also tends to feral cats near her home. She enjoys traveling, working out at the gym (especially Zumba!), singing, and working in the church garden.
