About Us

Barbie has been instrumental in the success of many of McConkey’s largest commercial accounts and brings more than 25 years of experience to the enterprise, with roots in the Administration and Bond departments.

In addition to her duties as Business Insurance Executive, Barbie serves as the Business Insurance Manager and is responsible for the oversight of all the Business Insurance Client Service Managers and Client Service Associates, acting as the liaison between the CSMs and the Business Insurance Executives.

Barbie is a graduate of the University of Delaware and currently holds the Certified Professional Insurance Agent (CPIA) designation. Her community involvement has included working with the House of Hope York, Pa, York Area Housing Group, Leadership York’s Executive Connections Class of 2010, Dress for Success, Junior Achievement and Putting for a Purpose.

Barbie lives in Seven Valleys with her husband, David, and has three grown children. Outside of work, she enjoys spending time with her many relatives, taking long walks and relaxing at the beach.
