Crystal joined the team in October 2022 as a Surety Bond Executive. In this role she manages and grows an established book of surety business and works closely with the rest of McConkey’s bond department.
Crystal has nearly 15 years of experience in the surety industry. She graduated from Temple University’s Fox School of Business with a degree in Actuarial Science and has her AFSB (Associate in Fidelity and Surety Bonding) designation.
Most recently Crystal was employed by The Hartford as an Executive Underwriter in their contract surety division. Prior to that, she spent nearly five years with LF Driscoll as their Insurance and Prequalification Manager where she was in charge of prequalifying their subcontractors and assisting in managing their insurance program. She also has experience working directly with clients at a national broker and started her surety underwriting career at Arch Insurance Group.
Originally from the Philadelphia area, Crystal now lives in Bucks County where she enjoys spending time with children Lily, Dani, and Joey, as well as their golden doodle, Molly. Crystal loves the gym and DIY projects and is very active with her children’s baseball and softball teams.
