Donna Roper

Donna joined EK McConkey in 1991 and has loved her job since Day One. Always enjoying a challenge, she oversees the daily management of our organization in her role as Vice President of Operations. Having been in the agency for a multitude of years has enabled Donna to understand the inner-workings of the business. She understands that some of the great challenges we face can be turned around to be our greatest opportunities.

Much of Donna’s day is devoted to developing talent and keeping the team engaged. This includes administering employee programs and mentoring co-workers. One passion of Donna’s is team-building, as this philosophy of “team work” is vital to creating a unique strength at McConkey. As Donna helps employees grow in their careers and job satisfaction, she feels it is important to set up her teammates for success.

Donna graduated summa cum laude with a Master’s degree from Midwestern State University in Texas.

Donna serves on the Board of Directors for Insurance Agents & Brokers of PA, MD, and DE. IA&B is a professional trade association that drives professional training, advocacy, and support for independent insurance agents. She is active in her church community. Second Wind Dreams is her charity of choice, with a focus on fulfilling lifelong dreams of the elderly. In her spare time, Donna enjoys her grandchildren and rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. She also enjoys traveling to any new place, in search of adventure.
