York, Pa. (April 6, 2022) – McConkey Insurance & Benefits, a leading provider of financial security and risk management solutions to businesses around the globe, named Michael C. Harter as President & CEO/Principal effective January 1, 2022.
With more than 15 years at McConkey and nearly 30 years of experience in the insurance industry, Harter previously served as Executive Vice President/Principal. Since 2007, his role at McConkey has centered around servicing a vast portfolio of clients and strategic leadership greatly impacting the growth and expansion of the firm. Prior to joining McConkey, Harter was a multi-line claims representative with a focus on Automobile, General Liability, Property and Workers’ Compensation insurance. Harter received his BA Degree from Temple University. He holds Associate in Claims (AIC) and Associate in Management (AIM) designations.
