Brenda joined the McConkey team in 2013. She has more than 30 years of sales, client management, and consulting experience in the employee benefits industry. Her strength is developing and fostering strong relationships. The best interest of her clients and their employees is always a top priority.
Brenda has a passion for regulatory compliance focusing on laws such as ERISA, ACA, HIPAA, COBRA, etc. She provides day-to-day and strategic compliance support to McConkey’s employee benefits team, such as identifying compliance risks and working with compliance and legal partners to implement corrective actions.
Brenda is a graduate of York College of Pennsylvania. She also earned her Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation offered by the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans (IFEBP) and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. In addition, she earned her Health Insurance Associate (HIA) and Professional, Health Insurance Advanced Studies (PHIAS) designations from America’s Health Insurance Plans (AHIP).
Brenda lives in Enola, PA, with her husband, Tim, and their collie, Obie. Outside of McConkey, she enjoys spending time with her horse, Joey, outings with friends, cooking, and reading.
