Dan joined the McConkey team in 2023 as a Business Insurance Consultant. He partners with businesses to develop insurance and risk management strategies that protect their operations and prepare them for the unexpected.

Prior to joining McConkey, Dan spent more than seven years in the insurance industry specializing in first party medical, non-injury liability, and property claims throughout Pennsylvania and Maryland. He primarily serves clients in the construction and manufacturing industries, using his claims experience to help businesses identify potential risks and build insurance programs that protect their operations.

Before beginning his insurance career, Dan served as a paramedic for four years. He earned a Master of Business Administration from West Chester University of Pennsylvania and a Bachelor of Science in Applied Health Studies from the Pennsylvania College of Technology. He also holds the Associate in Claims (AIC) designation and is an FAA licensed commercial drone pilot.

Outside of work, Dan serves on the Upper Allen Township Parks and Recreation Board, volunteers as a firefighter with the Upper Allen Fire Department, and coaches youth softball in the Upper Allen and Mechanicsburg communities.

Originally from Perry County, Dan lives in Mechanicsburg with his wife, Allie, their three children, Benjamin, Ella, and Nora, and their two dogs, Thor and Teddy. In his free time, he enjoys spending time with his family, cheering on Pittsburgh sports teams, hunting, fishing, and boating.
