Kim joined the McConkey team in 2023 as an Employee Benefits Executive Consultant. Drawing on an extensive background in human resources and executive leadership, she partners with employers to develop employee benefits strategies that support organizational success, cost containment, and employee satisfaction.
Prior to joining McConkey, Kim led multidisciplinary human resources teams and served as a member of executive leadership teams, giving her a unique understanding of the challenges employers face. Her areas of expertise include employee benefits, compensation, employee relations, and HR operations. She enjoys helping organizations develop high-quality, cost-effective benefits programs that attract and retain employees while supporting long-term business goals.
Kim primarily serves clients in the manufacturing and transportation industries, as well as organizations across a variety of other sectors, including religious organizations and school districts. She also provides oversight for McConkey’s Special Risk Team and the Keystone Benefits Partners (KBP) and Carolina Benefits Partners (CBP) programs.
Kim earned her Master of Business Administration (MBA) and has obtained several professional human resources designations. She is also an active member of the Society for Human Resource Management (SHRM) and WorldatWork.
Kim lives in Morgantown with her husband, Ken, their three Bengal cats, and three Labrador Retrievers. Outside of work, she enjoys watching her son race sprint cars, visiting the beach, and wine tasting.
