Melissa Cathone

Melissa joined McConkey as Special Risk Programs Coordinator in January 2024, collaborating closely with the Special Risks team within our Benefits division.

A graduate of Messiah University, Melissa holds a dual degree in Business Administration and Public Relations. Raised in upstate New York, she gained early work experience as a medical receptionist at an Optician’s Office during high school and continued through college. Following her graduation, Melissa served as the Event Director and Membership Director at Association Development Group, Inc. in Albany, New York, leveraging her expertise in event planning—a skill set that greatly benefits her current role at McConkey.

Residing in Lancaster, Melissa finds joy in activities such as gym workouts, outdoor hikes, exploring new culinary experiences, and traveling.

Fun Fact: Melissa is the middle child in the family, smack dab in the middle of two sisters!
