Dave joined the McConkey team as part of the merger with NL Associates, Inc. in 2001. Previously, he held positions in healthcare management, auditing, and financial services. His experience provides him with the knowledge and practical application skills to provide excellent account management and consultative services to businesses, their owners, and their benefits decision makers.
In his current role, Dave is responsible for the overall management of his accounts, including benefit and financial evaluation, analysis and negotiation of rate renewals, and on-going client support. In addition, Dave is responsible for new business development and assists with managing and mentoring other Benefits Consultant team members.
A York College graduate, Dave majored in Accounting. He has earned the Group Benefits Associate (GBA) designation awarded by Certified Employee Benefit Specialist, Inc. and the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania. The required coursework for this designation reflects up-to-date and relevant information (including the latest on health care reform) needed to effectively design, administer and communicate group benefits.
Dave is a member of East York Rotary Club, Economics Club of York, Christian Business Men’s Connection, and the International Foundation of Employee Benefit Plans. He resides in Red Lion along with his wife, Mary. Outside of work, he enjoys spending time with their children and grandchildren.
