McConkey Insurance & Benefits made the prestigious list of Best Places to Work in PA, sponsored by Team Pennsylvania Foundation, the Pennsylvania Department of Community and Economic Development, the Pennsylvania State Council of the Society for Human Resource Management, and the Central Penn Business Journal. At the awards banquet held on Thursday, December 2nd, 2021, McConkey was ranked #6 in the medium-sized companies category, which have 100-249 employees. This is the second year in a row that McConkey has ranked in the top 10.
The Best Places program, created in 2000, was designed to identify, recognize and honor the best places of employment in Pennsylvania who are also benefiting the state’s economy and its workforce. The two-part process includes an evaluation of each nominated company’s workplace policies, practices, philosophies, systems and demographics, as well as an employee survey to measure the employee experience. The winners are then categorized by size of business (small, medium, or large) and ranked within those categories.
